Who Is Comfort Keepers?
Comfort Keepers® is a locally owned and operated provider of personalized in-home care for seniors and other adults who need help living safely and independently.
Our local care team serves families throughout White Bear Lake, Forest Lake, Hugo, Chisago Lakes, and surrounding Northern Twin Cities communities.
We help seniors, veterans, and other adults remain in the homes they love by providing compassionate caregivers, personalized care plans, and flexible support based on each client’s needs, routines, and preferences.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of our clients while supporting their safety, comfort, well-being, and independence at home.
We understand how difficult it can be when a parent, spouse, or other loved one begins to need additional assistance. Our goal is to reduce that stress by providing dependable in-home care with a personal touch—and by treating every client with dignity and respect.
What Makes Comfort Keepers Different?
Our approach to senior care is called Interactive Caregiving™.
Rather than simply completing tasks for clients, our caregivers encourage them to participate in their care and daily routines whenever safely possible. This may include preparing a favorite meal together, taking a walk, looking through photographs, enjoying a hobby, or staying connected with family and friends.

Our Local Care Team
Our caregivers—the special people we call Comfort Keepers—are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional and compassionate assistance.
They may help with personal care, companionship, meals, transportation, household tasks, mobility, respite care, dementia support, and other needs included in the client’s care plan.
Every client is different. Our Client Care Coordinators take time to understand each person’s needs, concerns, routines, personality, and family situation before recommending a personalized plan of care. Care plans can be adjusted as the client’s circumstances change.
Our Story
Comfort Keepers began in 1998 after a registered nurse recognized that many older adults needed more than medical attention. They also needed help with everyday tasks, companionship, and opportunities to remain engaged in their lives.
That idea grew into an international network of more than 700 Comfort Keepers locations in 12 countries. Each office is independently owned and operated, combining the resources of an established senior care organization with the relationships and personal attention of a local care team.
Our local Comfort Keepers offices serve seniors and families from locations in Anoka, White Bear Lake, and Chisago City, Minnesota.
