Comfort Keepers® provides personalized in-home senior care in Anoka, Hugo, Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, Chisago Lakes, and nearby Minnesota communities. Services include companion care, personal care, dementia care, respite care, post-hospital support, private duty nursing, and up to 24-hour care based on each client’s individual needs.

We provide flexible care options ranging from periodic assistance to 24-hour in-home care. Every client receives an individualized care plan based on their health needs, daily routines, personal preferences, and family goals.

What In-Home Care Services Does Comfort Keepers Provide?

Our caregivers assist older adults with everyday activities that may have become difficult because of aging, illness, injury, or changes in mobility. Services may include:

  • Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Transportation and errands
  • Mobility and transfer assistance
  • Medication reminders
  • Companionship and meaningful activities
  • Respite care for family caregivers
  • Overnight and 24-hour care
  • Private duty nursing and nurse-supported services

We also provide specialized care for seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, individuals returning home after a hospital or rehabilitation stay, veterans who need assistance at home, and older adults with more complex care needs.

Personalized Care for Every Senior

No two seniors need exactly the same type of support. Some clients need help with meals, transportation, or household tasks. Others require personal care, dementia support, supervision, or assistance throughout the day and night.

Our Client Care Coordinator meets with each senior and family to learn about their needs, concerns, routines, and goals. We then create a personalized in-home care plan that identifies the appropriate services and care schedule.

Care plans can be adjusted as the client’s circumstances or level of support changes.

What Makes Comfort Keepers Different?

Our approach is called Interactive Caregiving®. Instead of simply completing tasks for clients, our caregivers encourage seniors to participate in their care and daily activities whenever possible.

That may mean helping prepare a favorite meal, taking a walk, looking through family photographs, folding laundry together, working on a hobby, or staying connected with friends and the community.

This approach supports the whole person—not only their physical care needs, but also their emotional well-being, independence, confidence, and sense of purpose.

What Families Say about Comfort Keepers

Carol G Google Review

Comfort Keepers has a great staff. They are wonderful with my husband who has Parkinson's. He loves Jessica and is very cooperative when she pushes him to do his therapy. Much more so than with me. I really appreciate what they do for us.

Can In-Home Care Help Your Family?

In-home care may be helpful when an older adult:

  • Wants to remain at home but needs additional support
  • Is struggling with bathing, dressing, meals, or household tasks
  • Is becoming isolated or no longer drives
  • Is living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia
  • Is recovering from surgery, hospitalization, or rehabilitation
  • Needs supervision because of falls or safety concerns
  • Requires more assistance than family members can consistently provide
  • Needs overnight care or continuous support

Families do not have to wait for a crisis to begin discussing care. Starting assistance earlier can help seniors maintain their routines, reduce family stress, and remain safely at home longer.

Schedule a Free In-Home Care Assessment
