Comfort Keepers has provided exceptional care for my mother who requires assistance 24 hours a day. The aides, specifically Opalene and Ruthann, are fantastic and have been nothing short of outstanding in all levels of care. In addition, the office staff is very professional and always keeps us informed of schedule changes and is on top of everything. I highly recommend Comfort Keepers as a means of providing support to your loved ones.
I would highly recommend Comfort Keepers. They cared for my dad during his last three weeks of life and they were incredible. The two ladies that came at night were beyond wonderful. They quickly became part of our family. Ellie was the one I communicated with and she was the best, always helpful and working hard to be sure we were satisfied and got the best care.
Everyone I spoke to at Comfort Keepers was very responsive, kind and caring. I contacted them to care for my sister who has Alzheimer's disease. After an assessment by one of their nurses, a client coordinator was assigned. Angela, our coordinator, was wonderful. She responded quickly to finding the perfect caretaker. Teresa, my sister's main caretaker, set up a daily routine which included helping her in the shower and dressing, prepared her meals, and took her out every day. My sister loved her. The entire staff is excellent. They are available 24/7, always courteous and respond to needs timely.
Comfort Keepers found the perfect live-in to care for my parents, who both had significant needs as they were immobile and in their late 90s. When my father passed, the caretaker continued to take excellent care of my mother and continues to live in her independent living arrangement, as was my father's wish. The agency communicates with me regularly and makes accommodations to support my mother when the caretaker takes time off. I only have good things to say about the care being provided. I consider her an extension of my family, a unique and caring individual.
I would highly recommend Comfort Keepers if you need someone to care for a loved one. We have used them for at least the last 4 years and the care coordinator on our account (Roxanne) has always found the right person for my mom. The caregivers we have had and currently have truly care about making the life of the person they are caring for better. They become part of the family.
My sister and I live out of state and know we can depend on Comfort Keepers totally. You always have dad’s best interest at heart. You keep my sister and I informed of things we should be aware of. We know we can call you if something unexpected should happen but most of all you make us (and Dad) comfortable and give us peace of mind that Dad is receiving the best care. The care of an elderly parent is difficult when you do not live nearby. Comfort Keepers help us manage dad's care in a way that relieves the stress and constant worry for the whole family.
We employed Comfort Keepers of Edison to take care of me while my wife was out of town. Meghan came to our apartment to do the free assessment. Although we had never met her it was as though we had an old friend visiting. She was very professional, friendly, and personable. She put our mind at ease, that she would see to it that I would be taken care of. On Monday, my home health aide Jennifer arrived promptly (as she did each morning for the week) along with Meghan. Meghan got her situated, stayed for a while, and left Jennifer and I to get acquainted. Jennifer was more than we could possibly have hoped for. She took extremely good care of me, never leaving me in need of anything. She never left my side, except to tidy up the apartment, even though we did not require her to do that or even ask her to do so. At one point, I got busy on my laptop and realized she was missing from my room. She re-appeared with broom and dust pan in hand! Upon my wife's return, she told me the kitchen counter and stove shined! On her last day, Jennifer insisted the bed sheets be changed, not only for my comfort, but she thought my wife would enjoy coming home to clean sheets and did not want my wife to have to change them when she got home. To say we were happy with Jennifer would be a grave misstatement. She was more than we expected. her care and attentiveness was more than we could have hoped for. Knowing that Comfort Keepers of Edison Employs good people like Jennifer, we would certainly not hesitate to ask for your help again.
Thank you so much for the assistance you gave us. We were at the end of our rope and didn't know who to turn to. We knew Dad didn't want to go to a nursing home, but we couldn't stay with him 24/7 and carry on with our lives. I was going to quit my job so I could stay with him when Comfort Keepers came into our lives. You were a Godsend.

Not only did you arrange for her care on very short notice, but every caregiver who came to the house was well prepared for her difficult work.
