We used Comfort Keepers for 6 weeks after breaking a collarbone. All their helpers were good, but Blandine was an exceptional helper, providing assistance expertly but also welcome companionship while she was with me. I highly recommend Blandine for anyone who needs a caring helper.
We found just about all our caregivers to be wonderful, caring people. However, John was a real standout! He was helpful, with out being asked. He was alert to Brian's needs, and watched him carefully. We enjoyed how kind he was and what a good sense of humor he had. There was lots of laughter when John was around. As Brian's spouse, I enjoyed how much he helped around the house. He wasn't one to sit still. He'd rather be busy! He did laundry and dishes and even raked our leaves, while Brian was sleeping. Even I felt taken care of. And those breaks were so nice! I'm very thankful my husband has made great strides, in his health recovery, but we'll both miss John's caring, kindness, and laughter. Thank you John. If we need help again, I'd certainly love to have you, again!!
I had my knee replaced and needed help getting to appointments, running errands and keeping up the house. Stephanie created a custom program for me to use their services for a short time-frame. It took a huge worry off my mind! Luis, Jolene and Dejanay were my caretakers and did a stellar job. They were so patient getting me in and out of my car, then escorting me to my appointments. They encouraged me to keep pushing forward and noticed even small improvements in what I could do. What a difference this has made in my recovery!
