David Coker
Franchise Owner since 2003
David and his wife Julie married in 2000 and have three children. They opened their first Comfort Keepers office in Florence in 2003. David expanded services by opening Offices in Sumter in 2008, Columbia in 2013 and Charleston in 2019. David graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 1997.
Julie Coker
Registered Nurse
Julie and David Coker were married in 2000 and have three daughters Anna, Kate and Morgan. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1999. Julie is a RN with McLeod Hospital NICU and has been very supportive of Comfort Keepers growth.
Stephen Beegle
Executive Director of Operations
Stephen managed a psychology research lab at Purdue University, focusing on infectious disease, reproductive health, and substance misuse. He has published multiple papers on infectious diseases and hold certifications in responsible research conduct and project management. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling, and swimming. He is also a former Eagle Scout.
Chelsea Tilton
Director of Client Relations
Chelsea joined our Comfort Keepers team in April 2021. Her background is in management and customer service. Chelsea enjoys interacting with people and assisting our clients and caregivers with their weekly schedules. She is married and has 3 children. She enjoys fishing and DIY projects at home.
Kelsey O'Neal
Director of Recruitment & Retention
Kelsey joined Comfort Keepers in 2018 and plays a key role in fostering relationships, advocating for caregivers, and supporting organizational growth. She values quality time with her husband and three children and finds inspiration in the mountains and life’s simple pleasures. Kelsey draws strength and support from her parents, family, and church community.
Charlotte Hamilton
Director of Administrative Financial Operations
Charlotte joined our Comfort Keepers team in February 2019. Charlotte is married and enjoys time with her family, friends and her son's baseball games.
Craig Goss
Marketing and Community Relations Manager
Craig joined Comfort Keepers in December 2005. He coordinates Marketing strategies in Florence, Sumter, Columbia and Charleston territories. He graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 1988. He is a Veteran of the Gulf War 1990-91.
Jennifer Porter
Employee Benefits & Compliance Management Specialist
Jennifer joined our Comfort Keepers team in 2008. She manages the Human Resource Department. She is responsible for all employment related issues and compliance. She graduated in 2002 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) from Atlanta College of Art (ACA).
Kayla Jordan
Marketing and Community Relations
Kayla joined our Comfort Keepers team in December 2020. Kayla has extensive healthcare experience in many areas since 2008, including direct patient care, supervising/training caregivers in the field, and healthcare sales experience as well. She enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
Jessica Nix
Client Care Coordinator
Jessica joined our Comfort Keepers team in April 2023. She has many years of experience in healthcare and obtained her Dementia Practitioner License. She is very passionate about working with seniors in the community. Jessica was born in Germany but grew up in New York. She adopted 3 boys and loves spending time with them and her 6 dogs. In addition, she enjoys reading, playing the violin, traveling and hiking trips.
Paris Mickens
Recruitment Coordinator
Paris joined our Comfort Keepers team in July 2024. She has previous background in Customer Service and Sales. She enjoys her role here as a Recruiter and making sure she chooses the perfect Caregivers for our clients. In her free time she loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
Deidre Pfeiffer
Scheduling Care Coordinator
Deidre is a dedicated Scheduling Care Coordinator with over 8 years of experience in customer service and management. She brings strong organizational skills and a passion for helping others to her role each day. Outside of work, Deidre enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two daughters, staying active with family and school activities.

Front Desk Receptionist
Raven is our Front Desk Receptionist here at Comfort Keepers, where she spends her days leveraging her extensive background in hospitality, banking, & interpersonal relations to provide a positive experience for everyone she encounters. She is deeply passionate about people & their wellbeing but in her personal time, she enjoys amazing & diverse food selections along with waterfront views.
